A three-year-old boy was seriously injured when he fell off a balcony in Zebbuga on Friday evening, the police said.
The accident happened in Patri Pelagju Street at 8.45pm.
The boy fell one storey, the police said. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Noel Bartolo is leading an inquiry.
