The asphalting work at the Marsa flyover which was damaged on Friday has been completed, Infrastructure Malta said on its Facebook page.
Flyover emergency works completed, road will be reopened in the next hours, the agency said.
“We take this opportunity to thank all involved in these emergency works, government entities, third party contractors and our employees.”
The road was closed on Friday when a truck carrying an estimated 200 litres of cooking oil spilled its contents.
The flyover takes traffic from Luqa to Marsa and forms part of Malta's Ten-T priority road network.
