Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo was caught saying that he “can’t stand” PN MP Rebekah Borg, during parliamentary question time last week.
Borg shared a clip of this on her Facebook page on Sunday.
Forgetting to turn off his microphone Bartolo seemed audibly upset in reaction to Borg who stood up to press Bartolo with a supplementary parliamentary question.
"Il... lil din... lil din ma nahmilhiex sahta," he says (I can't stand her).
“You forgot to turn your microphone off Minister Clayton Bartolo,” Borg wrote as a jab to Bartolo.
“Is the use of such language in my regard by a government minister in Parliament appropriate? When I am only doing my work and asking a question in line with my duties. Thank you. You’ve just acknowledged that I am doing my work, Minister Bartolo,” she said.
