Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech attended an international summit in France which placed special emphasis on what is happening in Iran.
The PN leader, together with a number of distinguished members of the international community, appealed for the world to stop seeing oppressive measures and respect the right for freedom of expression.
The summit was held in France’s capital city, Paris, and there Grech gave a speech where he said that the oppression happening in Iran is to be condemned and said that it is a moral duty to support those suffering in silence.
Grech expressed solidarity with Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the organisation People’s Mujahedin of Iran, and said that the international community must join Iranians and their cause so that the necessary steps are taken for the toppling of a regime which is committing criminal acts against humanity.
Grech was accompanied at the summit by PN MPs Robert Cutajar and Ivan Bartolo.
