As if repeated power cuts were not enough, several localities around Malta are now experiencing water shortage too.

The Water Services Corporation, on its Facebook page, has said that residents in Gharghur, Naxxar, Iklin, Swieqi, Madliena, Mosta, Gzira and San Gwann were affected by an interruption in the water supply due to a technical fault.

Malta has been suffering from repeated power interruptions since a heat wave hit the country at the start of last week.
