The Southern Regional Council has collaborated with Jobsplus to launch a free course titled “Award in Office Administration” accredited as an MQF Level 4 qualification. They said that the eligibility requirements for this course are minimal as the course is designed to appeal to anyone who wishes to work in an office environment. The course is set to begin during the final quarter of 2023.

Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Alison Zerafa Civelli said that this collaborative educational project signifies that regional councils are an effective resource for local councils. She went on to praise the work of the southern regional council and encouraged other regional councils to continue working for the betterment of their communities. Civelli said that this course will be a valuable opportunity for people with the desire to acquire new skills and increase their job opportunities.
