A double decker bus caught fire on Thursday afternoon in Mellieha, a police spokesperson told The Malta Independent.
The bus caught fire on the hill close to Ghadira Bay in Mellieha, on the side of the road which ultimately continues to Cirkewwa.
No-one was injured.
The spokesperson said that police were informed of the accident at around 4:30pm and that from photos received “it seems that there is a lot of smoke surrounding the area”.
