Ħamrun Spartans lost their sole leadership as they are now joined by Floriana after their surprise draw against Mosta.

Hamrun had more of the ball and had the better scoring op‐ portunities but high flying Mosta had a very good display and earned a very good and deserved point.

Hamrun Spartans created several scoring opportunities in the first thirty minutes of the game, but Mosta goalkeeper Akpan made some very good saves to keep the Spartans at bay.

However the same Akpan was at fault on Hamrun’s opener scored by Duranovic.

In stoppage time ex‐Hamrun player Kevin Tulimieri fired home from close range in a quick Mosta Break.

In the second half Hamrun continued to attack but Mosta defended well to earn a point.
