Malta was placed in the ninth place in the list of the Top 10 most Googled countries in the world to travel to in 2023, the Greek Travel Pages (GTP) Headlines reported.

Each year, Google publishes its ‘Year in Search’ data, a report showing what users have Googled over the past 12 months.

The most-searched-for countries on Google in 2023 were Greece, placing first, followed by Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Cyprus, Thailand, Egypt, Malta, and Morocco, according to Conde Nast Traveler, a destination guide website including travel reviews.

Rhodes, a city in Greece, was also the most Googled travel city/island of 2023. GTP Headlines reports on Greece’s latest tourism industry news.
