An armed and hooded man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a gaming outlet in Msida, on Friday morning, the police said.

The hold-up took place in Ta’ Xbiex Promenade Road at 11.15am.

The man, armed with a firearm, demanded money from the cashier, a 19-year-old woman from Colombia.

He then made off with the cash.

Magistrate Joe Mifsud is leading an inquiry.
