A 31-year-old Egyptian man who resides in St Paul's Bay was grievously injured in a traffic accident.

The accident occurred at 6am on the Coast road in Bahar iċ- Ċagħaq., where preliminary investigations found that the man, who was driving a Honda Accord, lost control and crashed into a wall.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
