A man was grievously injured on Thursday morning when he fell off a ladder in a residence in Mdina, the police said.

The man, aged 66 of Zebbug, fell a height of one and a half storeys.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The accident took place in Villegaignon Street at 11.30am.
