A biker was grievously hurt on Friday morning following a crash in Tarxien, the police said.

The accident took place in San Frangisk Street, Tarxien, at 7.30am.

The biker, a 34-year-old man of Qormi, was riding a Sym which was involved in a crash with a Toyota Ist driven by a 35-year-old woman of Tarxien.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
