The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) said Saturday that an agreement has been reached between the BCA and the Kamra tal-Periti (KTP) "following several constructive meetings between both parties".
These discussions primarily centred around the forms issued by the BCA recently, with the aim of refining and amending them to better serve the needs of stakeholders in the construction sector. Through a collaborative effort, both parties have identified areas for improvement and have committed to making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the industry, the statement said.
The BCA said it looks forward to working in full collaboration with KTP and other stakeholders in the construction sector to address challenges collectively and drive positive change. By fostering strong partnerships and leveraging collective expertise, the BCA said it remains dedicated to promoting sustainable growth and development in the construction industry.
"We are pleased to have reached this agreement with KTP, which marks a significant step forward in our efforts to enhance collaboration and drive positive outcomes in the construction sector," said Jesmond Muscat CEO at BCA. "Together, we are committed to overcoming challenges and working towards a brighter future for the industry."
