An officer of the Law Enforcement Systems Agency was injured on Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Msida.

The police said the accident took place in Rue d’Argens, Msida, at 8.15am.

It involved a LESA bike and an Opel Astra driven by a 58-year-old man from Italy.

The officer, a 48-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
