Thirty-nine candidates will be contesting for the EP elections to be held on 8 June.
The deadline for the submission of nominations expired on Monday.
There will be nine candidates from the Labour Party, eight from the Nationalist Party, four from ADPD- The green Party, two from ABBA, two from Imperium Ewropa, one from Volt, and 13 independent.
Six of these candidates will be elected to represent Malta at the EP for the next five years.
