A man from Msida was arrested in St Julian;s after he was found in possession of drugs, the police said.

The arrest was made on Monday and the man, aged 28, is set to be charged in court later today.

He was arrested by officers on patrol in St George's Bay who approached him as he was smoking inside an establishment, which is prohibited at law.

A search was conducted on his person and he was found carrying 21 sachets containing cocaine, ketamine and MDMA. Another search at his home yielded drug paraphernalia.
