The sixth edition of the Malta International Christmas Choir Festival, will be once again organised by Leon Promotions Malta and Euro Art Productions Italy, this year in collaboration with the Malta Southern Regional Council.
32 choirs are going to participate in nine different concerts, which are going to be held at various baroque churches of Malta's Southern Region, between Friday 6 and Sunday 8 December. These choirs will be performing various Christmas carols from their respective countries and also popular International Christmas carols.
The choirs participating in the Malta International Christmas Choir Festival 2024 are coming from Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and obviously from Malta.
This International Christmas Choir Festival is going to be held in these churches:
Friday 6 December - The First Festival Night
St George Collegiate Church, Qormi - 6.30pm
Holy Trinity Parish Church, Marsa - 7pm
St Andrew Parish Church, Luqa - 7pm
The Assumption of Our Lady Archpresbyterial Church, Gudja - 7.15pm
Saturday 7 December - The Second Festival Night
St Sebastian Archpresbyterial Church, Qormi - 6.30pm
The Assumption of Our Lady Parish Church, Ghaxaq - 7.15pm
St Venera Parish Church, Santa Venera - 7.30pm
St Peter in Chains Parish Church, Birzebbuga - 7.30pm
In each of the above churches there will be a two hour concert with the participation of six choirs.
Sunday 8 December - The Festival Final Night
St Catherine Archpresbyterial Church, Zejtun - 6.30pm
A unique evening concert night with the participation of all 22 choirs, followed by various presentations by the local authorities. This final Festival night will be broadcasted live on Youtube and on the Festival facebook page.
