Three firefighters were injured in a fire that broke out in Naxxar on Thursday night, the Civil Protection Department (CPD) said Friday.
The CPD said 50 firefighters and 15 fire appliances had been involved in tackling the fire.
During this operation three Firefighters sustained injuries after a roof collapsed. Two of the them were transferred to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment, the CPD said.

A CPD official later said that the worst injury was a broken bone. The victim who sustained the fracture was expected to be discharged within 24 hours.
Earlier, Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri said in a post on Facebook that other law enforcement forces were assisting.
Part of Naxxar's Burmarrad Road, close to It-Telgħa t'Alla u Ommu, was closed off to traffic as members of the Civil Protection Department were fighting the fire.
The police were first informed about the fire, which broke out in a storage unit on Triq Burmarrad at around 8pm on Thursday.
Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
