Twenty-eight illegal migrants will be deported to their country of origin, the police said Sunday.
The migrants are from Syria, Nigeria, Ghana, Libya, India and Mali.
They were caught during inspections at the Floriana open market, the park and ride area in Qormi, and in residences in Hamrun, San Gwann, Mosta and Birkirkara.
