A woman who was hit by a car in Fgura last Monday died in hospital on Saturday, the police said.
The 24-year-old from Nepal was hit by a Toyota Hilux driven by a 20-year-old woman from Birzebbuga.
Another woman from Nepal, aged 34, was also grievously hurt in the accident.
The victim was layter named as Gauri Kumari Baral.
The accident happened in Hompesch Road at 8pm.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
The woman is the second road fatality of the year.
On Monday, Aleandro Brincat, 25 of Mtarfa, died when he lost control of the Mercedes he was driving in Attard and crashed.
