Taste&Flair's December issue of 2024 marked two decades of publication. By this time of the year, we would normally be publishing the first issue of 2025. Regrettably, we have decided to cease publication of the magazine as the increasing costs and pressures of production have led us to the conclusion that we can no longer maintain the publication standard that made Taste, Flair, and Taste&Flair a success for 20 years.
We are thankful to everyone who has been part of Taste&Flair's story, whether as a contributor, a writer, or a photographer, to our readers who have been there from the start and the many others who joined the magazine's readership over the years, and to the many advertisers who have chosen Taste&Flair.
When Taste&Flair's founder and publisher, Daphne Caruana Galizia, was killed, we were able to publish her magazine two weeks later only thanks to contributors, writers, and photographers who had known Daphne's plans for its content and who worked to fulfil them, to advertisers who maintained their faith in the publication, and to the tireless support of Ramon and Antoinette Micallef at Box Design, and Sean Ellul and Noel Azzopardi at Standard Publications. Continuing to publish Taste&Flair for so much longer would not have been possible without their effort, and for that we are grateful.
While the regular print magazine will cease publication, we don't see this as the end and hope that 2025 will be a new chapter in the Taste&Flair story. We are exploring ways to keep Taste&Flair's spirit alive and continue to inspire you to take pleasure in the good things.
