A €10 million investment in the Kempisnki Hotel in Gozo has generated 120 new jobs, the government said Saturday.
Prime Minister Robert Abela and Gozo and Planning Minister Clint Camilleri visited the hotel, saying that the investment symbolises the climate of confidence that exists in the private sector.
Eighty of the 120 jobs are directly with the Baldacchino Group, owners of the hotel, the government said.
Abela said the investment indicates how the private sector is confident in the potential of the tourism market and the country's economic stability.
