A man who has been missing for three weeks has been found dead in a valley, the police said.

Martin Ambinette, 65, had been reported missing on 3 March, with the police issuing several calls for assistance to establish his whereabouts.

He had last been seen in Fgura and was later reported to be wearing a track suit with San Giljan ASC written on the back.

The police said that on Saturday at 10.30am, it received information that a man had been found dead in Wied Blandun, limits of Fgura.

The body was that of Martin Ambinette.
