A woman was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Naxxar at 9am.
The accident occurred on Triq San Pawl.
Preliminary investigations found that the woman, who is 87-years-old and lives in Naxxar, was hit by a Smart, that was being driven by a 30-year-old man from Fgura. The 87-year-old woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Investigations are ongoing.
