Momentum officially recognised as a political party

Momentum on Saturday announced its official registration as a political party in Malta, as confirmed by the Electoral Commission in a letter dated April 4, 2025. This registration, in accordance with the Political Party Financing Act (Chapter 544 of the Laws of Malta), marks a significant milestone for the party, Momentum said Saturday.

"We thank the Chief Electoral Commissioner, his board and staff for processing our application in good time. This official registration is a testament of our journey of hope towards a better future for Malta" said Carmel Asciak, Treasurer for Momentum. "We are excited to bring Momentum's vision and values to the forefront of Maltese politics and work towards a more beautiful, fairer, and modern Malta for all."

Momentum said it is a political party committed to building a more beautiful, fairer, and modern Malta. "We are dedicated to delivering good governance, a just economy and a flourishing environment through innovative policies and a collaborative approach," the party said.
