Gamblorium: The vision and concept

First, we would like to discuss the main idea behind Gamblorium. Gamblorium is an online casino affiliate platform that connects gamblers with the best online casinos. Nodar Giorgadze, the CEO, will share what inspired the platform, how it stands out from traditional casino affiliate websites, and the vision of creating a fully automated gambling marketplace. Let's get into the core concept of Gamblorium!
Q1. What is the main idea behind Gamblorium? How does your platform differ from competitors?
The future vision of Gamblorium is to seamlessly connect various online gambling products with their consumers, gamblers, without our direct involvement.
Currently, Gamblorium operates as an independent online casino affiliate platform. However, our goal is to transform Gamblorium into the first fully automated gambling marketplace.
Q2. Why did you decide to create a marketplace instead of a traditional review website?
First and foremost, because it is fair. Let's start by understanding what a marketplace actually is. Essentially, it is an automated platform where business representatives (in our case, market participants such as online casinos, game developers, gaming platforms, and other gambling-related products) can independently and freely add their products. On the other side, consumers (gamblers) can register just as easily, and through filters and sorting options, find online casinos relevant to their intent.
Traditional affiliate review websites are becoming less interesting to users, they are merely informational websites, often raising concerns about transparency and credibility. Our goal is to solve the problem I mentioned earlier and to do so as reliably and securely as possible for our visitors. That is the essence of Gamblorium's future marketplace.
Q3. How do you plan to gain players' trust in an industry where reputation is everything?
First of all, we strive for maximum transparency. We do not hide any aspects of our approach. For example, we have developed our own unique Gamblorium Rating system, which determines the rankings displayed on our website. This system considers a large number of evaluation factors, almost all of which are based on factual data we obtained through testing every online casino featured on Gamblorium. The rating is then calculated through a specific formula. All these factors are publicly available, allowing any market participant to verify them.
Secondly, Gamblorium involves both players and online casinos in shaping the rankings. Any player feedback (reviews, ratings, or validation of information) immediately impacts the overall score of a casino. On the other hand, the more up-to-date and detailed information an online casino provides about itself and the more actively it engages with its audience, the higher its rating will be. This approach ensures that our rankings remain as objective as possible.
Lastly, reputation is built over years. Gamblorium conducts itself as honestly as possible with all our "respondents," and I believe many reviews about us confirm this. The rest is just a matter of time.
Q4. Who is your target audience? Do you cater more to beginners or experienced players?
Gamblorium's target audience consists of gamblers of all kinds. We currently focus on about a dozen different local markets, in addition to our global website for players worldwide. Our approach is simple: if you are an experienced player, we help you conveniently choose a relevant real money online casino, and if you are a beginner, we provide numerous guides and educational materials to ensure a pleasant and, most importantly, safe online casino experience.
Q5. How is content created on your platform? Do you have an editorial policy, and what makes it unique?
Yes, of course, we have an editorial policy. First of all, we have a strong team of casino experts who are not only experienced online casino players themselves but also understand the nuances of gambling laws in different markets, casino rules, game mechanics, deposit and withdrawal methods, and more. So, I can assure you that most of the information on our website is accurate. Of course, this is a dynamic industry, and sometimes we may not update something as quickly as we'd like, but it's only a matter of time.
I believe the key feature of our content and editorial policy is that we thoroughly research every aspect of what we write about, especially online casinos. I don't know of anyone who does it as meticulously as we do (not even major industry players, where we often see commissioned content written by authors who haven't truly engaged with the subject).
I think this is undoubtedly our advantage, and over time, we hope to build a large library of genuinely useful content on Gamblorium.
Q6. Does your platform currently feature advertising materials, and will they be allowed in the future?
Any mention of an online casino brand is, to some extent, advertising. Any such platform is an advertising platform and may receive compensation from online casinos in various ways. From this perspective, Gamblorium does promote online casinos, but we aim to become not just another affiliate website but an independent iGaming marketplace.
That being said, in the sense of the question, yes, we do have advertising. Despite having an entirely independent online casino rating system on our website, you may sometimes notice an online casino ranked higher than its rating suggests. In such cases, we always label it as an advertisement.
That is probably how a good reputation is built: we don't hide such information from our visitors; everything is as transparent and honest as possible.
Q7. How many people are currently working on the Gamblorium project?
Gamblorium is not an independent company, the platform is managed by Unilead. Currently, our company has just over 10 employees, each of whom contributes to the continuous improvement of the Gamblorium platform in some way.
Q8. Have any of your team members worked in real (offline or online) casinos before?
Not all, but yes, some have. Several team members have held various positions at casino operators. Myself included :)
Q9. Do project members have gambling experience? Have any of them struggled with gambling addiction, and if so, how was it addressed?
Yes, many of us, especially those working directly on the Gamblorium product and content, have experience playing real-money online casino games. Not everyone, of course. I doubt our accountant needs such experience, but it wouldn't hurt in terms of company culture.
None of us have had issues with gambling addiction. The Gamblorium's team philosophy is that gambling is simply a way to diversify leisure time, add excitement, and experience a bit of adrenaline. Gambling, despite what some dishonest market participants may claim, will not solve your life problems, that is misleading propaganda.
However, if you're particularly lucky, in addition to having a fun evening, you might also walk away with a nice bonus.
Q10. How does Gamblorium make money? Could you briefly explain how affiliate websites work?
Like other affiliate platforms, Gamblorium earns a share of the commission from online casinos that receive players through our website.
However, when a player wins, not only does the online casino lose money, but we do as well. So, everything here is as fair as it gets for all parties.
The Gamblorium rating system: Ensuring fairness and accuracy

Now, let's talk about how Gamblorium rates casinos. Nodar Giorgadze, the CEO, will explain what goes into the rating system, how they make sure it's fair, and how they handle updates and user reviews. This section will give you a better understanding of how Gamblorium provides honest and reliable information to help players choose the right online casino.
Q1. How does your casino rating system work? What key factors are taken into account?
I have already talked quite a bit about our rating system in previous answers. If we generalize the key factors, we can say that the more convenient an online casino is, the higher its rating will be.
By convenience, I mean a wide range of deposit and withdrawal methods, a large selection of diverse games and developers, proper localization (user-friendly currency, website language, and technical support), security, licenses, fairness certificates, and many other parameters.
Q2. How many parameters are analyzed before assigning a final rating, and which are the most critical?
Currently, the Gamblorium Rating consists of over 100 parameters. Each of them has its own weight and influence on the overall rating, but we have designed the system so that there are no major distortions in the final assessment. We balanced and smoothed out the rating by including a large number of different factors.
It's difficult to say which parameters are the most critical. However, I can say this: if an online casino has a huge number of payment methods but lacks a local currency, it will not receive a high rating. Similarly, if a casino has a large selection of games but they are all from a developer that only changes the design while keeping the mechanics identical, the casino will not score highly in terms of entertainment.
Q3. How do you avoid external influence from casinos? For example, if a casino offers you money to change its rating?
Essentially, Gamblorium aggregates information about online casinos and verifies it. We cannot manually adjust ratings, they are formed based on numerous data points that we include in our casino reviews. Any player can compare what we have stated on our website with how things actually are in the online casino. If there is a discrepancy, players can respond or draw our and the community's attention to it.
Why would a casino offer us money?
It can simply buy advertising on Gamblorium and gain more exposure, but everyone will know it's an ad. If an online casino wants to artificially manipulate its rating, it would be easier to buy fake user reviews. However, that wouldn't work either because we validate every review from all players, tag them accordingly, or simply don't approve them. So, if someone tries to boost their rating, it won't work, neither through our team nor through other means.
Q4. How often are ratings updated? What happens if a casino declines in quality?
Since the rating is based on a relative model where online casinos are compared to each other through algorithms, and then assigned ratings using formulas, any new casino added to Gamblorium or any significant changes in an existing casino will trigger a recalculation of ratings and an update for all casinos.
So, we can say that ratings are updated continuously.
If an online casino "declines in quality," its rating drops, while others either remain the same or rise.
Q5. Will user reviews be taken into account? How do you plan to combat fake and biased reviews and comments?
Of course! I already touched on this topic earlier. First, only registered Gamblorium members can leave ratings, reactions, and reviews. Second, we validate all these actions and mark whether the user is a real player of the online casino, this helps readers assess the usefulness of a review. Furthermore, if a user is not a player of a given casino, their actions should not and will not affect the rating.
Q6. Do you collaborate with unlicensed operators? What is the basis for this decision?
Definitely not. Every online casino listed on Gamblorium is licensed by various regulatory authorities. Players can be sure that our Dutch website features only casinos licensed by the KSA, our UK website lists casinos with a UKGC license, and so on.
There are markets like New Zealand or Canada where local casino operator licensing is not mandatory. In such cases, these online casinos hold licenses from other recognized authorities such as MGA, Curacao, etc.
This decision is simply based on fairness and safety.
Personal insights and controversial topics

Now, we'll turn to some personal and more controversial questions. Nodar Giorgadze, the CEO of Gamblorium, will give us his thoughts on handling negative reviews, whether his platform can make a real impact on the market, and how he maintains honesty in the face of challenges. He will also reflect on his personal relationship with gambling and clarify some common misconceptions about online casinos.
Q1. How do you react to negative reviews about your platform? Has there been any criticism that made you rethink your strategy?
We treat any feedback about Gamblorium as an opportunity for growth. So, we view it positively. We have dedicated people who test products and functionality, proofread content, and reviews (whether positive or negative) provide us with free insights. We process them and try to respond by resolving any issues, making Gamblorium even better and addressing the needs of our users.
Q2. Do you think your project can genuinely change the market, or is it just another advertising scheme like your competitors?
The model Gamblorium aims for a marketplace will undoubtedly impact the industry and the approach within this niche. As of today, I am not aware of any iGaming marketplace that functions the way we envision.
Q3. If your personal reputation were on the line, would you guarantee 100% honesty from Gamblorium?
Absolutely. My reputation and Gamblorium's reputation are directly connected. Real people with real identities stand behind Gamblorium, and we are open about it. This accountability ensures honesty in everything we do.
Q4. Have you ever written anonymous reviews on websites to boost or lower a company's reputation?
No.
Q5. What type of gambling activities do you personally enjoy the most? Slots, table games, sports betting, or something else?
Probably online slots, as they come with various mechanics, designs, storylines, and so on. But sometimes, I feel like a retiree who enjoys online roulette or bingo. In the past, I used to love playing poker.
Q6. Do you ever feel guilty about working in the gambling industry?
No. Gamblorium addresses an existing demand among players. As I mentioned before, we view online casinos as a way for people to have fun, those who can afford to pay for such entertainment.
Q7. Have you personally won any large sums in an online casino?
I could say that it's all relative, but no, I haven't won any particularly large sums. For me, it was mostly about entertainment, and luck never really turned in my favor in a major way. However, we see players hitting big wins every day.
Q8. What is the biggest myth about online casinos that players believe?
Probably the biggest myth is that online casinos solve life problems, help with depression, or fix financial difficulties. That's not true. Gambling can work both ways: it can sometimes bring a win, but it can also make things much worse. After all, it's a casino.
