'Work. Life. Quality', is the theme the Nationalist Party (PN) chose for this year's Workers' Day celebrations, which will culminate in a family event at Ta' Qali on 1st May.

The PN said it has always believed that workers are the backbone of our country and said it has consistently invested in Malta to provide workers with quality employment that leads to a better quality of life.

During a press conference addressed by Secretary General of the PN Charles Bonello, Organisational Executive Secretary Stefan Caruana, and Shadow Minister for Social Dialogue and the Fight Against Rising Cost of Living Ivan Castillo, the PN's logo for these celebrations was launched, along with the main event details. "The event, Festa Familja, will take place at Ta' Qali, in front of the American Embassy, from 2pm onwards on 1st May. The event will conclude with a speech by Leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista Bernard Grech."

The speakers said that the meaning behind the theme chosen for this year's Workers' Day activities, which are already underway through a series of workplace visits led by PN Leader Bernard Grech, is: Work - Quality jobs and new opportunities; Life - Quality of life for workers, work-life balance, and solutions to the rising cost of living; Quality - Investment in workers and families.

"The PN celebrates the hard work on which our country's economy is built. It honours the diligence and wisdom of Maltese and Gozitan workers, whether employed or self-employed. It celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, and dedication of the worker."

The PN said it has always believed and continues to believe that the country is what it is today thanks to the efforts of the Maltese people, on which this nation has been built over the years. "It invites everyone to join in these celebrations, which pay tribute to the workers of yesterday, today, and tomorrow."

"The celebrations are not only a gesture of appreciation to all workers in this country, but also a reaffirmation of the PN's commitment to continue securing the best jobs for Maltese and Gozitan workers, so that they may truly enjoy a better quality of life, not just in words, but in practice."
