There were no injuries reported after an explosion rocked an apartment in Gzira.
The explosion happened at around 6pm in Triq Edgar Bernard in Gzira.
A police spokesperson told The Malta Independent that nobody was injured.
Commenters of social media said that the explosion was loud and quite violent, while a video published by TVM News shows a fire in the balcony of the apartment which was followed by an explosion which showered the street below with debris.
A medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department were on site.
