A biker has died following a crash in Swieqi early on Saturday, the police said.
The biker, aged 27 from Paola, was riding a Honda which was involved in a crash with a BMW Series 1 driven by a 22-year-old man from St Paul's Bay.
The biker was taken to hospital for treatment where he died some time later, the police said.
The accident took place at 1am in St Andrew's Road, Swieqi.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
