A motorcyclist died after he lost control of the bike he was riding and crashed, the police said.
The accident happened in Marina Road, Pieta, on Sunday at 7.30pm.
The police said the biker, a 58-year-old man of Zejtun, lost control of the Honda bike he was riding, hit the pavement and crashed.
He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he died some time later.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
