A biker was seriously injured this morning following a crash in St Andrew's Road, Pembroke, the police said.
The accident happened at around 5.30am.
The biker, an Italian man aged 21, lost control of the Kymco Agility he was riding and crashed in a concrete barricade.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Monica Borg Galea is leading an inquiry.
