234 educators were granted their warrant by the Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, Clifton Grima, during a ceremony organised by the Council for the Teaching Profession, which took place at St Theresa College, Achille Ferris Primary School in Msida.

Most of those who received the warrant graduated around two years ago, and after completing two years of practice, they were confirmed as teachers through this warrant. The teachers who received the warrant come from State, Independent, and Church schools.

"As a Government, we believe that the driving force behind our children's education are the educators, whose commitment and dedication lead to the success of our children. That is why we are making the best possible investment in educators-not only a financial one, but also by involving them in the Ministry's policymaking," Minister Grima said.

Minister Grima stated that the Government is fully investing in the education of children. "We are continuing to work to ensure that every student is supported to reach their potential through the development of their skills along their educational journey, to achieve their aspirations. This journey is entrusted to the educators, who carry it out with such commitment and dedication," said the Minister.

"The warrant is proof that a person can practise the teaching profession, and it places a great responsibility on those who receive it, as they are being entrusted with the education of society's most precious treasure-our children," Minister Grima added.

Minister Clifton Grima thanked the educators for the impeccable service they give every day. He said that today's occasion not only recognises the educators' academic preparation but also acknowledges the important role they play in society.
