A silent gathering in memory of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia took place in Bidnija on Thursday, on the site where she was brutally murdered eight years ago.
The investigative journalist was killed in a car bomb near her home in Bidnija on October 16, 2017.
Her murder drew significant international attention and sent shockwaves through Maltese society.
A vigil will be held in Valletta later on today.
