The second edition of the 'Kuraġġ' (Courage) concert, which blends music and performance with the real-life experiences of those affected by illness, will take place over three nights on 7, 8, and 9 November at the Salesian Theatre in Sliema, a statement from the office of the President said.

Details of this year's concert were announced at a press conference by President of Malta Myriam Spiteri Debono.

The President explained that the concert is inspired by the courage, resilience, and hope of patients who rely on the support of the Malta Community Chest Fund.

She said that recovery depends not only on financial aid but also on the emotional support patients and their families receive throughout their journey.

She appealed to the public to support the concert, helping raise much-needed funds for the charity's work.

Kuraġġ's Artistic Director Yanis Azzopardi said that the concert is based on real-life stories, aiming to celebrate the individual while delivering a spectacular musical and artistic experience for a noble cause.

Musical Director Daniel Cauchi said that this year's concert has been carefully prepared with patients who have received or are still receiving support from the Malta Community Chest Fund, giving them the opportunity to share their stories.

The concert, written by Gabriel Lia with narration by Pawlu Portelli, will feature singers Sarah Bonnici, Jolene Samhan, Brooke Borg, Matthew James Borg, Ryan Hili, Kris Spiteri, and the Vocal Troops, accompanied by music from Big Band Brothers.
