A man was grievously injured after being caught between a tow truck and a wall.

The incident in Marsaskala occurred at 10.45am on Wednesday on Triq Nigel Dennis.

Preliminary investigations found that the 25-year-old man from Għaxaq was caught between the vehicle and a wall. Civil Protection Department officials, and a medical team went on site. The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
