A man was grievously injured on Thursday morning while working with a grinder on a construction site in San Lawrenz in Gozo, the police said.
The accident took place in Dahlet Pawluzzu at 9.15am.
The worker, a 36-year-old from Ghana, was taken to Gozo Hospital with grievous injuries.
The OHSA is investigating along with the police.
