ADPD has called for the resignation of Minister Roderick Galdes

In a statement, ADPD said that in recent days "we have read several serious allegations directed at Minister Roderick Galdes. When you see one person after another come forward with accusations of this kind, one reaches the conclusion that there are deep problems of mismanagement and a lack of good governance and transparency within his Ministry. The comments by Marlene Mizzi and others, reacting to a story that appeared on The Shift News about Malita plc, paint a clear picture that things are not running as they should, and that the situation has led to a loss of trust due to the Minister's interference."

ADPD-The Green Party Chairperson Sandra Gauci said: "These allegations of intrigue cannot be ignored. The public has the right to know what is happening and has the right to demand that institutions are run transparently and responsibly. In light of all that has come to light, we are calling for the immediate resignation of Minister Roderick Galdes so that seriousness and trust in the leadership of the public sector can be restored."

"Furthermore, we believe that a full and independent investigation should be carried out into everything that has been alleged. No government ministry should be above accountability, and it is our duty to ensure that our public companies and institutions are run with integrity and with respect toward the public."
