A 31-year-old Colombian man was arrested following investigations on suspicion of drug trafficking, the police said.

He was arrested on Friday, at around 9pm, in Sa Maison.

This happened after an investigation led to a search on the man, during which pills suspected to be ecstasy were found in his possession, as well as more than €1,000 in cash. A search was also carried out at his residence in Msida, where, besides finding more than another €2,000 in cash, the Police seized other substances suspected to be cannabis, ketamine, cocaine and MDMA, with a total value of around €21,000.
