An 80-year-old man was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Paola.
He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital at around noon, following an accident on Zabbar Road.
Preliminary investigations found that the man was hit by a Toyota Ractis, that was being driven by a 28-year-old man from Zejtun.
The 80-year-old suffered grievous injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
