A woman was grievously injured on Thursday when she was hit by a car in Birkirkara, the police said.
The woman, aged 75, of Birkirkara, was hit by a Mazda Demio driven by a 27-year-old man of San Gwann.
She was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
The accident happened in Fleur-de-Lys Road at 10am.
