A fire that broke out at a shop in Bisazza Street, Sliema, was swiftly brought under control by Civil Protection Malta on Tuesday morning.
Civil Protection Malta was alerted to smoke coming from the premises just after 8:00 a.m. Firefighters from Fire Stations 2, 4, and 11 were immediately dispatched to the scene to tackle the blaze.
Thanks to the prompt response of emergency crews, the fire was contained without further incident. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed, and investigations are expected to continue.
