Global superstar Pitbull has announced a major Malta date as part of his explosive I'm Back Tour, confirming a live performance at Ta' Qali National Park on 2 August 2026. The open-air concert will feature special guest Lil Jon and is expected to be one of the biggest music events of the Maltese summer.

The show is being presented by greatt and NnG Promotions, with tickets available via EventWorks. Fans can register their interest between Tuesday, 17 February at 11am and Thursday, 19 February at 11am local time through www.eventworks.mt/pitbull. Those on the registration list will receive early access to tickets on Friday, 20 February at 9am, with general sales opening later that same day at 11am.

Malta's inclusion on the tour follows a string of sold-out arena shows across Europe, as Pitbull continues a global run that has reignited fan enthusiasm worldwide. Known as "Mr. Worldwide," the Miami-born artist has built a career defined by high-energy performances and a catalogue of chart-dominating hits including Give Me Everything, Timber, Fireball, Don't Stop the Party, Rain Over Me and Time of Our Lives. His concerts are renowned for relentless pacing, immersive production and an atmosphere built around constant crowd interaction.

Adding to the spectacle is Lil Jon, whose unmistakable voice and anthems such as Turn Down for What and Get Low helped shape the crunk movement and remain staples of party culture. His presence ensures the Malta date will deliver a continuous, high-octane experience from start to finish.

The Ta' Qali show will feature Pitbull backed by his live band The Agents and his dance crew The Most Bad Ones, alongside large-scale visuals, lighting and pyrotechnics. Recent tour dates have also sparked a viral fan movement, with thousands of concertgoers wearing bald caps in tribute to Pitbull's iconic look and calling themselves "The Bald E's," turning each performance into a shared cultural moment beyond the music itself.

Beyond his recording career, Pitbull has established himself as an entrepreneur, education advocate and global brand. He is the founder of the Mr. 305 record label, creator of Voli 305 Vodka and curator of the Globalization channel on SiriusXM. He also co-founded the SLAM! charter school network in the United States and recently made headlines after Florida International University renamed its football venue "Pitbull Stadium," marking the first U.S. athletic stadium to bear an artist's name.

Ticket prices for the Malta concert start at €60 for general standing, €100 for VIP standing, €150 for general seated and €200 for VIP seated, with accessibility tickets priced at €60 for the ticket holder and helper.

Organisers say the August event will be more than a concert, positioning it as a full-scale celebration of music, rhythm and spectacle. With Pitbull and Lil Jon sharing the same stage, Malta is set to host a night designed to deliver nonstop energy and a summer-defining party atmosphere.
