The police are investigating the death of an 11-month-old baby.
In a statement Tuesday, the police said the baby died at 11.30pm in a residence in Andre Aurois Street, St Julian's.
Magistrate Franco Agius is leading an inquiry.
No further details were given by the police.
TVM reports that the baby was found dead in the bed by her father, who is from Serbia. The baby's mother is from the UK.
