Despite the unfortunate cancellation of the annual Good Friday Night Walk due to adverse weather conditions, the spirit of solidarity across the Maltese Islands remained undiminished. Lidl Malta, the island's leading retail supermarket chain, has officially presented a €15,000 donation to the Puttinu Cares Foundation marking a significant milestone: the 15th consecutive year that Lidl Malta has stood as a primary supporter of the NGO.

While the traditional midnight walk could not take place, the weekend was defined by an extraordinary national effort through the Puttinu Cares telethon. The overwhelming response from the public ensured that the Foundation's mission continues to receive the vital funding it requires. Lidl Malta's donation reinforces a decade-and-a-half commitment to providing a "home away from home" for Maltese families and children navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.
