ADPD-The Green Party and Momentum have concluded discussions on cooperation for the coming general election.

Reports in the past weeks suggested that the two parties were seeking to form a coalition, but in the end the two sides chose to remain separate entities but cooperated with each other in the run-up to the election.

This agreement follows a number of meetings between representatives of the two parties where it was concluded that each party will maintain its identity, the two parties said in separate statements.

There are enough common thoughts and ideas on which there can be collaboration, the statement said.

The purpose of all this is to jointly strengthen the voice and effectiveness of the third party.

The exercise being carried out is a coordinated effort to coordinate which candidates will appear on which districts, and to send a clear message to the electorate to make good use of the transferability of the vote by giving their first preferences to the candidates of their preferred party and continuing on the rest of the candidates from both the ADPD and Momentum, thus maximising the value of their vote.
