A man from Serbia was arrested by the police after sachets containing cocaine were found in his car in Birkirkara on Friday, the police said.
The 36-year-old was approached by another person and after a "suspicious contact" was made, officers approached the vehicle the Serb was in, finding the drugs.
A search in the man's residence yielded sachets containing cannabis, with a street value of €11,500.
The police also seized an undisclosed amount of cash.
