Civil Protection Department (CPD) firefighters from Station 4 were called to the scene of a major vehicle fire in Żebbuġ earlier today.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found an internal combustion engine vehicle and an electric vehicle completely engulfed in flames. The intense heat and fire also caused significant damage to a third vehicle parked nearby.

Firefighters launched immediate operations to contain the blaze, successfully bringing the situation under control and extinguishing the flames. Fortunately, the CPD confirmed that the area has been made safe and no injuries were reported.

The CPD expressed its gratitude to the Malta Police Force and Transport Malta for their crucial assistance and support during the operation.
