Servizz.gov agency has launched a new version of its portal, Servizz.gov.mt, featuring innovative digital tools designed to make public services simpler, more personalised and more relevant to citizens' needs.

The portal, which recorded more than 738,000 users and generated over two-million-page views last year, now offers new features that enhances the user experience.

Among its most innovative features is the Benefit Finder, a smart tool that helps users identify services and benefits for which they may be eligible. The new portal also organises public services according to major life events, enabling users to find what they need more quickly and at the right time.

In addition, the platform includes personalised dashboards, the ability to book appointments online for professional one-to-one tax assistance and identity card collection services, as well as a chatbot that provides immediate assistance. All services are available in both Maltese and English.

Principal Permanent Secretary Tony Sultana, said that while Servizz.gov.mt was already widely used by the public, this new version marks an important step towards services that are even more user centric.

"This investment continues to strengthen the quality of services we provide to citizens. It is also another step in the Public Service's digital transformation journey, as recognised by the European Commission, which has once again ranked Malta first in Europe for online government services," said Sultana.

Servizz.gov CEO Massimo Vella explained that the launch of the new portal forms part of the agency's strategy to bring public services closer to citizens.

"We are investing in digital tools that not only make services more accessible but also help users quickly find what is most relevant to them. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can access Government services in a simpler, more efficient and more personalised way," concluded Vella.
