Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg this morning announced the official appointment of his Shadow Cabinet, ending days of speculation as to which MP would be shadowing which ministry.
In a statement, the PN said this Shadow Cabinet is made up of 28 Shadow Ministers and eight (8) spokespersons from among the Parliamentary Group elected in the last general election.
"The Group is made up of Members of Parliament who bring with them a blend of experience and fresh energy, and is structured in a way that enables the Partit Nazzjonalista to present itself as an alternative government ready to lead our country towards a better future," the PN said.

In comments after announcing the Shadow Cabinet, Borg said that he was able to form this alternative Cabinet because he has a very strong Parliamentary Group. He added that this Shadow Cabinet will serve the Maltese and Gozitan people and will put forward solutions to improve the quality of life of all the people.
"A serious Opposition today, a strong government for tomorrow," the PN said.
